Report Cards

Term one Report Cards are available on PowerSchool November 14, 2024. T1 ended on October 29 and the grade reflected on the report card reflects student achievement up to that date. For the most current grade please view the particular course in PowerSchool, as grades may have fluctuated since October 29th. Students enrolled in classes that ended in term 1 such as CALM and Physical Education 10, will see a comment reflecting student achievement in relation to curricular learning outcomes on this report card. If you have questions regarding student assessment please reach out to the classroom teacher.

CBe-Learn Concurrent Registration Semester 2

For grade 11 or 12 students interested in taking one online course with CBe-Learn in semester 2 concurrently, here is the link to the form to request a course. Grade 12 students who require a course to meet graduation requirements will be prioritized. Ensure your online course registration aligns with semester 2 timetable and aim for a balanced timetable, so your overall academic load is not too heavy. In person learning is recommended. 

CBe-Learn Semester 2 requests need to be submitted by Wednesday, December 11th. Guidance counsellors will meet with students requesting an online course if there are any concerns with the course selected for their learning plan.

Information on the Schulich Leadership Scholarship is included!

Scholarship Information Session

To support students' understanding of post-secondary costs; differences between scholarships, bursaries, and loans; where to find scholarships students are eligible for; and tips when applying for scholarships, Success Centre will be hosting a scholarship information session for students on Wednesday, November 27th at lunchtime in the theatre. 


Community Resources 

AHS Community Education Sessions


The Calgary Board of Education invites all parents and guardians to join us in a pre-recorded and live online series focusing on child and youth well-being. These sessions will be hosted in partnership with experts from Alberta Health Services and Recovery Alberta and will explore topics such as Peer Pressure, Healthy Relationships, Mental Health for Highly Sensitive Teens, and navigating Parent-Teen relationships. 

Acting on feedback from participants who joined us during our live online sessions over the past two years, moving forward we invite all guardians and parents to listen to the pre-recorded or live sessions at their convenience.

Skills for Safer Living (Centre for Suicide Prevention)

Skills for Safer Living (SfSL) is a four-week psycho-educational group for youth aged 12-24 who have past or current experiences of suicidal thoughts or suicide attempts. A concurrent group is available for the youth’s caregiver(s) to equip them with the knowledge and skills to support youth in navigating their suicidal thoughts.
