School Building Access Reminder
With the colder weather fast approaching, this is just a reminder that students do not have access to the building until 7am when our facilities team arrives. Please take this into account when dropping students off for various activities before school.
January Schedule
With the cancellation of diploma exams, our January schedule looks a little different than in previous years. Please note that classes resume on Monday, January 5th and that we will be holding regularly scheduled classes until January 23rd. Semester 2 classes will resume on Wednesday, January 28th.
Spirit Week - Dec 15-19
Monday, Dec 15 - Pyjama Day - wear your comfiest, school appropriate PJ's
Tuesday, Dec 16 - Adam Sandler Day - dress up as the famous actor with baggy shorts, oversized tees and sneakers
Wednesday, Dec 17 - Movie character day - dress like your favorite winter or holiday movie character
Thursday, Dec 18 - Winter White-out - transform the school into a snowy wonderland by wearing white and silver
Friday, Dec 19 - Ugly Christmas Sweater - Comet Council will be handing out candy canes in the space at 8:00AM
Athletics
- Our Sr Basketball teams are playing in tournaments this weekend! Sr Girls are at Bert Church in Airdrie and Sr Boys are at Fowler.
- Tuesday Dec 16th we have the Senior girls home opener against Bishop O’Byrne at 5:30. Come out to support the ladies as they play in their first home game!
- Our boys teams play on Tuesday Dec 16th as well at Central Memorial. Senior boys at 5:30 and Juniors at 7:30.
- Good luck comets! These are the last games before the holiday break!

Semester 2 Timetables
Grade 11 and 12 students who would like to make a timetable change due to the following reasons: Course off levelling (ie. Math 30-1 to Math 30-2); meeting high school graduation requirements: and/or Post Secondary admission requirements should book an appointment with their guidance counsellor as soon as possible.
